I don’t do lying.
Too many lies in past relationships have left me jaded.
It’s why I’ve been single this long.
But when I meet Lindsay, I have a hard time remembering why I’ve sworn off women.

Before my brother was killed in action, I made him a promise.
If anything ever happened to him, I was to spread some of his ashes on a glacier.
It’s been tricky making the arrangements, considering I’ve never been to Alaska before.
I can’t tell my family what I’m doing, because they would forbid it.
So I book a private hiking tour and sneak away for a quick weekend hoping not to arise suspicion.
Hopefully no one will ever know about my secret—and technically illegal—mission.
Not even my personal, incredibly hot hiking guide.
When the weather rolls in and strands us, I’m not even sad about it.
But what I thought was a little bit of fun quickly turns into something more.
I might just be falling in love with Reed Harrison, and I have no idea what to do about it.
