Her Second Chance
I knew it was only a matter of time before she came back around. Only I
was surprised to see that she had an infant in the car with her when she
was at the stop light.
I hadn’t seen her in over a year. I hoped
that she wouldn’t look over, praying she wouldn’t see that I still felt
the same pain in my heart that I felt when she left me without saying a
word.
Is it too late to start something fresh? Maybe, but the
news I eventually heard might change the decision that I had made at the
moment.
