Cabin by the Shore
Sophie Byrne liked her job as a teacher in a middle school. She absolutely loved her boyfriend, Brandon, and hoped, beyond hope, that soon he would propose. Her parents showered her with love and attention, although often they were clingy after the untimely death of her older sister. A sister Sophie never knew.
Her life seems to be going well, but then out of nowhere Sophie receives a mysterious letter saying an anonymous someone has gifted her a cabin by the seashore. Who would leave her…anything? Excited, Sophie rushes over to tell Brandon the great news, but when she arrives, Sophie is in for another surprise. This one not nearly as pleasant.
Sophie’s world is changing by the minute. She needs time to figure things out so she heads to the shore to find out why someone would give her a gift like this.
